All profits from the sale of the t-shirt will go to the Cash for Kids Day appeal, to help provide struggling children with food and fun activities during the school holidays.

About the single

(White Man) in Hammersmith Palais helped The Clash assert themselves as a more versatile band musically and politically than many of their peers, and it broke the exciting but limiting punk mould that had been established by the Sex Pistols; from now on The Clash would be "the thinking man's yobs". (White Man) in Hammersmith Palais was originally released in four different coloured sleeves: yellow, blue, pink and green. 

About the artist

Morgan Howell is known for his giant (supersize!) 3D artworks of classic 7” singles. He accounts for every crease, tear and imperfection to produce a one-off, truly unique piece that's almost identical to the owner’s original 45 but blown up to huge proportions.

Neil Diamond, Jude Law, Edgar Wright, Lord Lloyd-Webber and Ian Brown have commissioned artwork from Morgan, and some of the biggest music labels have his art on display in their HQs. He's also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Q Awards, The Barbican Centre and The National Portrait Gallery in London.

As a self-confessed vinyl addict and music lover growing up in the 70s and 80s, it's perhaps unsurprising that his work has gravitated towards these iconic images of treasured discs!
